Once the capital of the Kingdom of Hungary, this city is an architectural and cultural mix of the Habsburg Empire.  Go for a walking tour in the old town and admire the landmarks such as St. Michael’s Gate, St. Martin’s Cathedral where the Hugnarian kings and queen Maria Theresa were crowned. Continue to Grassalkovich Palace, which is the residence  of the President of Slovakia. Ramble along the beautiful 18th c. Primate’s Palace and walk up to the Castle of Bratislava to have a panoramic view of the Danube river, the UFO bridge  and the city.
